Overfishing is one that really worries me. I also worry about decreasing diversity of our crops making our food supllies vulnerable. Chemical contamination of our water supplies is a third issue that troubles me. All three of these issues have the potential to seriously stress our populations and lead to conflict over limited necessities (i.e., lead to war-I am not a big fan of wars).
There are a lot of other issues that I consider more of "quality of life" issues, like acid rain, urban air pollution including ozone and unburned and sometimes carcinogenic hydrocarbons, excessive urbanization, reduction of truly natural areas, and so on.

Well I would say overpopulation but you can't really fix that so much. Not in any sort of ethical way.
Water pollution, in my opinion, is the most pressing issue.

Al Gore.
His absurd rhetoric is going to cause global economic and environmental catastrophe if he is given any more credibility.
