MgH2 + 2 H2O - Mg(OH)2 + 2 H2

Na2S + 2 HCl = 2 NaCl + H2S

Ca + 2HCl = CaCl2 + H2

2 Na + 2H2O = 2 NaOH + H2

2Al + 2KOH + 6H2O = 2KAl(OH)4 + 3 H2; it is not possible to produce K in the presence of water.
