It's the paranormal belief that there is a hidden psychic "sense" that can be developed which you can use to see and understanding things hidden from the natural 5 senses, including the ability of "remote viewing". As it stands, this is more of a religious type of belief since there is no credible evidence that such a sense exists.

Hello Vision

The Third Eye is a Chakra. Found in the middle of your forehead.

Sixth sense is your intuition.

Remote Viewing is the ability to see into a another space/place via psychic ability, (such as another room, building etc) Any form of Clairvoyant vision uses the third eye, amongst other chakras & intuition.

Remote viewing is said to be used by governments.

Tuataras have a photo-sensitive spot in the middle of its forehead. Some other animals have this as well.

In most magical disciplines, the Third Eye is the seat of ones magical abilities. Physically, it is situated almost directly in front of the pineal gland of the brain. It also directly corresponds with the Chakra of thee head.

The concept of the the third eye probably originated in Asia around the 6th century B.C.E., in and around the Indian subcontinent. It was said that the Hindu deity Shiva possessed such an eye.

The third eye (link below) is a concept from a religious perspective even though it is often associated with paranormal abilities.
Sixth sense has been used in the past as another term for ESP (Extra Sensory Perception). This somewhat misleading name was used because people appeared to be acquiring information through other than normal means (the five senses) and so a sixth sense was a natural extension of the idea. It is also used because however information is acquired (not with the 5 senses) it has to be viewed (rise to conscious awareness) from one of the 5 senses in order for people to be aware of it.
ESP best evidence to date is the Ganzfeld experiments that even the critic (Ray Hyman) that helped write the protocols (with all the conditions he asked for being met) has been reduced to arguing against ESP only on theoretical grounds.
Several links are listed below for you.

Remote Viewing is a type of procedure (just like the Ganzfeld is) for using ESP that has provided further evidence for ESP. The Amy and CIA both studied and used this procedure until it's funding was killed in congress by a member of CSI (committee for skeptical inquiry) despite a positive outside evaluation that as left out of the congress's final report.
"Using the standards applied to any other area of science, it is concluded that psychic functioning has been well established. The statistical results of the studies examined are far beyond what is expected by chance. Arguments that these results could be due to methodological flaws in the experiments are soundly refuted. Effects of similar magnitude to those found in government-sponsored research at SRO and SAIC have been replicated at a number of laboratories across the world. Such consistency cannot be readily explained by claims of flaws or fraud"

Sir,
Its nothing but taking minute things and observations in consideration which are generally overlooked, computing them quickly and deducing a result by your subconscious mind.

It is then sent in to the conscious mind in a pictorial view. The conscious mind feels that the result has come from nowhere and considers it as third eye or sixth sense.
