Some people here have stated that earth is just a speck of dust revolving around a minor star in the backwoods of our galaxy, which itself is a relatively small galaxy in the backwoods of the universe. But, maybe you have never quite put it in perspective, so I would like to show you something.
Tell me what you think?

And an example of what I am writing about is, when a ice cube is solid, but it is unstable because it can melt. And the flip side is, when the ice cube melts, it is no longer solid, but it is now stable.

Another example, is a clean bedroom, solid when clean, but unstable, because it can get messy. When messy, not solid, but stable.

Convert √2e^(-π/4)i to rectangular

√2(cos(-π/4)+i sin(-π/4))

=√2((1/√2)+(-1/√2)i)

I understand that cos is not negative because -cos=cos, I don't understand why the cos and sin equations are converted to (1/√2) when sin and cos of pi/4 is (√2/2)???

thanks a lot for your help.

Question : Sketch the region R and evaluate the double integral: (Area Integral) f(x,y) dA = (Area Integral) (x^2)*(y) dydx

Where (Area Integral) stands for the double integral and the bounds of the second written out integral is 0 (lower) to 1 (upper) for x, and (x)^(1/2) (lower) to 1 (upper) for y.

My difficulty is with trying to sketch this graph, how would I go about doing this?

Imagine someone has a collection of two different sized coins (for instance nickels and quaters, or 10 and 5 pence pieces) all kept together in the same bag. They spill the contents of the bag onto a table and observe the layout of the coins before them. They then try and analyse the layout of the coins to look for 'groups' of coins - i.e. those touching each other, in clusters, and if certain sized coins were to appear within these groups.

How could they analyse the spread of coins to determine if the smaller of the two coins is more likely to group than the larger, and vice versa. If the smaller coins were found to be more prominent within the 'groups' as opposed to individually within the layout, how could this be analysed?

What statistical methods could be deployed to show that the smaller coins are more likely to be found grouped than individually. Lets say there is no element of chance involved and that smaller coins are more likely to group. (Hope this makes sense)

What organelles (or structures) do onion epidermal cells possess that are NOT found in human cheek epithelial cells?

I'm pretty sure cell wall is right but I'm not sure about chloroplasts. This is because I don't know what part of the plant they are talking about when it says "onion epidermal cells". I know epidermal means "skin", but does it mean the skin of the onion or the skin of the leaf? And there could be other organelles too. I'm so confused. =(
