I always notice that when you see the shuttle in orbit, the bay is poiting towards the earth instead of away from it. So you could say its flying upside down.

A quadratic function, p(x)= Ax^2+Bx+C, is called a quadratic approximation of the function F for values x values near a, provided that the following three conditions are met;

F(a)=p(a)
F prime(a)=p prime(a)
F double prime(a)=p double prime(a)

For values of x near a=0, find a quadratic polynomial,
p(x)= Ax^2+Bx+C, that is a quadratic approximation for the function F(x)= e^(-x^2).

Lets say you were driving lost out in the mountains and all of a sudden you get snowed in. You sit there for about 3 days waiting for the weather to clear, but it never does. It appears as though nobody is coming to rescue you, and your cell phone has no reception there. You realize that the only chance of survival is to go out and find help on foot. Visibility is so low, you can't even see the sun in the sky. The weather is freezing cold. How do you navigate successfully to saftey without starving or freezing to death?

If all matter is energy, then is it theoretically possible to convert all of someones/somethings physical matter into energy, transfer it somewhere, and reconstruct it into matter? I know this would be massive amounts of energy to deal with, but could it be done? This would be far different from cloning and destroying the original like Quantum teleportation does.
