can someone help me answer this for my lab:

2.The pit in the top of the mountain on the model must be shown on a flat map as a depression and not as a hilltop. What method might be used to show that the contours in the pit really do suggest a depression?

3.A view from directly above shows that when a contour line crosses a gulley on a mountain, it changes direction suddenly. The contour line is somewhat V-shaped. Does the “V” point toward the top of the mountain or toward the valley?

This is for my science lab. Please help me!

your eyes closed, separate them into two groups so that
each group has the same number of tails. Her answer is to
take any 10 pennies and turn them over; that is group 1,
and it has the same number of tails as the remaining 90.

When dealing with linear relationships, what are the advantages of using a standard form for an equation. We are studying point-slope, standard form, and explicit and recursive. We are expected to be able to convert each of them. I'm just unsure of the advantages for using each one.

The answer is three of course, but I don't know whether to say 3 units squared, or 3 square units, or just 3, or something else... It would be much easier if it were in cm, (then it would be cm squared), but it doesn't give you a specific unit...?
