Renting a moped from jack's adventure shack costs $42.50 a day plus 16 cents per km. The same moped rented from patrick's paridise tours costs $24.25 a day plus 25 cents pr km. Shara wants to rent a moped for three days. for witchc driving distance is jacks price cheaper? For witch driving dictances is particks price chaeaper?

I've looking in the internet but I can't find a straight answer.

The problem is this:

Suppose we have a 3-side die (faces marked 0, 1, and 2).

Are there general formulas to answer questions such as:

a) "After throwing the die 100 times, get the probability of the sum being 120"?
b) "After throwing the die 100 times, get the probability of the sum being greater or equal to 120"?

I'm just curious about how accurate horoscopes are. If horoscopes are accurate, shouldn't all horoscopes say basically the same thing for the same sign? And is it really possible that people born around the same time of the year go through similar things? People sometimes really believe that horoscopes are applicable to them, but is it just because the horoscopes are written vaguely enough that almost anyone can apply something in their life to what is written?

My second part of the question is, how can the arrangement of stars affect what goes on in our lives?
