I'm more confused on part (a.) on how to answer the question more than anything else, here is the whole thing:

A car initially traveling eastward turns north by traveling in a circular path at uniform speed as in the figure below. The length of the arc ABC is 210 m, and the car completes the turn in 32.0 s.

(a) What is the acceleration when the car is at B located at an angle of 35.0°? Express your answer in terms of the unit vectors and .

(b) Determine the car's average speed.

(c) Determine its average acceleration during the 32.0 s interval.

-------------------------------------

I've tried answering part B without answering part a. which I assumed that the ABC arc was just another type of radius and thus r=210m and that my angle would just become 35 degrees. Then I solved for Velocity with the F= m(v^2/r) got the velocity which due to shortage of characters my answer which was incorrect was 37.96 m/s, so I'm stumped currently.

Appreciate the help. :+)

i need to find f(x+h)
with the following:
f(x)=6x+2

it is to my understanding that I need to replace the X in the original function with the function of x they are providing me with, thus:

f(x)=6x+2
f(x+h)= 6x+2+h

but the answer in the book is: 6x+6h+2...
and i can't understand why....

What would happen if a person fell from a building and, on the way down, grabbed a high-voltage wire? If the wire supports him as he hangs, will he be electrocuted?

Finally, if the wire breaks, should he continue to hold onto the end of the wire as he falls?

Thanks

This is true. I was in a very remote, dark area. We were stargazing and the Milky Way stretched across the sky. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, I saw a pinpoint of light grow many times in magnitude and then snuff out. My question is: Is it possible it was a supernova, or should I be looking closer to home; i.e. a satellite that exploded. How can I check ? How can I report it ? It happened around 7:55pm PST.

Pi.... it means 3.14...etc

It is very obvious that many people think it is irrational.

BUT, the definition of a rational number is that it can be put it in an A over B form.... or a fraction

Pi = 7 over 22 = 7 divided by 22 = 7/22 ....etc

So... rational or irrational... ill ask my Math teacher

Terephthalic acid is an important chemical used in the manufacture of polyesters and plasticizers. It contains only C, H, and O. Combustion of 19.81 mg terephthalic acid produces 41.98 mg CO2 and 6.45 mg H2O. If 0.242 mol of terephthalic acid has a mass of 40.2 g, determine the molecular formula for terphthalic acid.

SoI tried to figure out if 19.81mg = 41.98 mg CO2 and = 6.45 mg H2O then it's 2.119131752 times the acid for CO2 and 0.3255931348 times for H2O then 1 mol = 166.1157025g
then CO2 = 30% C and 70% O
and H2O = 11% H and 88% O
Then it's C9H6O18
But that's not correct can you help me?
What is the answer? and can you explain how you got it please.

The project is about hydropower. I made this dam type thing and I have a water pump like device( the ones they use in aquariums to filter the water). Anyways the water pump pumps the water over the dam. I also made a turbine out of 2 margarine container caps( they are circular and are made out of bendy plastic) and I attached some soda bottle caps to the middle of the caps.... I know this is kinda confusing....umm it looks like a water wheel. This water wheel is the turbine for the dam. I attached the water wheel to the dam by means of a copper wire and I had to make a hole in the margarine caps in order to pass the wire through. I also bought a 9 volt DC motor and I attached it to a light bulb. The DC Motor has like a spoke thing and whenever the spoke turns electricity is produced. I need to know how to attach the DC MOTOR to the water wheel so whenever the wheel turns it turns the spoke and produces electricity. If anyone could help me I would be reaally grateful to them. Thanks.
