Please don't make any cruel comments.
I hope this site doesn't have a "war" going on like R&S does.! (cynics and believers battling it out!)

A stats prof has noted from past experience that students who do the homework for the course have a 0.90 probability of passing the course. On the other hand, students who do not do the homework for the course have a 0.25 probability of passing the course. The prof estimates 75% of the students in the course do the homework. Given a student passes the course, what is the probability that she or he completed the homework?

If H = height, B = area of bottom face, M = area of cross section halfway up, and T = area of top face, then the volume formula V = (H/6)(B + 4M + T) works for a variety of solids, such as a cone, a box, a fustrum, a pyramid, even a sphere or ellipsoid. When does it work or does not work? What are the conditions necessary for it to work?

I'm taking demazin and cold&flu tablets and both contain pseudoephedrine (I'm sick with a cold or the flu at the moment)

Anyway, they tend to make me drowsy but I've just noticed that they also relax me and help me focus a lot more. Normally, I find it extremely difficult to study, even for 5 minutes because I can't focus and in turn I get stressed out.

However, I'm suddenly in a very focused, relaxed mood and am having no troubles studying at all :S Is this an effect of the pseudoephedrine?

Also what are the effects of combining pseudoephedrine and codeine-ibuprofen pills (such as nurofen plus) because I took them last night and found myself in a bit of a delerius and confused state? Is it dangerous to combine the two?

the loss of hydrogen gas during filling was 20%. what mass of iron splints and 98% (by mass) H2SO4 were needed to ensure the complete filling of the balloon? assume temperature of 0 degrees C. a pressure of 1.0 atm and 100% yield.

Fe(s)+H2SO4 -----> FeSo4 (aq) + H2 (g)

how do you solve this?

"Approximately what mass of CuSO4 · 5H20 (250 g/mol) is required to prepare 250mL of 0.10 M Copper (II) Sulfate solution?"

Note: I would really appreciate it if someone could kind of, guide me through the steps, or show me the work, so that I can understand it better. I'm not able to understand that well in class, but after trying to get help on Y! Answers, I've seen that it really does help. (Thanks to the person who answered my last question, btw!)
