Barium sulfide is one product of the reaction between hydrosulfuric acid and barium hydroxide; the other is water. Write the chemical reaction. including the formulas for the reactants and products.

why is it that when you say A-bomb or H-bomb people tend to think of those impressive big bright balls of fire, or those big mushroom clouds. similar to these:

A block of mass 0.600 kg is suspended using a spring and a string as shown in the diagram. In this situation, the spring is stretched and its length is 12 cm. The relaxed length of the spring is 7 cm.

a.)Find the tension in the string. Start from a fundamental principle and show all work.

b.)What is the spring constant ks of the spring. Show all work.

Ok the equation is x^2+3=2x

As an answer i got 2(+)(-)2i sqrt 2 / 2. When I simplify it i get, 1(+)(-)i sqrt2 .

Is this is the right answer? How do I check? Please help. Thanks in advance.

I'm working on a take home quiz and so far I have 1 I'm not sure of. I have half of it done. I won't put the base but I want to make sure I combined it right. I'm thinking that it turns into a fraction because of the negative 3/4. Anyways....it's
-3/4 log (x+2) + log (2x-1)^1/2
