I know there are some odd medium sized mammals like llamas and tapirs and some kind of huge rodent but I can't remember ever hearing of any large (mammal) predators or grazing animals. Why no bison on the Pampas? No hippos in the Amazon? I can't think of anything bigger than a llama! Is this really the case or am I just an ignorant norte americano?

or computation, not sure of the word, for lottery works syndicate. There are 10 of us with 1 line each = 10 lines, how can we cover our lines with min/max numbers? ie. we have 3 numbers up on one line, how do I work out that we are guaranteed 3min on other lines etc. Can someone give me the formula as to cover all these lines. realise I may not have worded this properly, but relying on maths/numbers people will understand what I mean, basically want to cover all lines in the event of 3 or more numbers coming up. many thanks in advance.

If you had 1 speaker (for e.g.) playing music at a certain volume level, what would happen of you had a 1000 speakers all playing at the same volume level...would the volume level stay the same or be increased? Does it depend on the size of the room that the speakers are in...if this is confusing...then compare to 1 person talking to 1000 talking...the sound is louder but is that because everyone is speaking louder to be heard? Would the volume level increse by the amount of speakers (e.g. x1000 if there are a 1000 more speakers) OR is there a mathematical equation to work it out?
