This is just one of those questions I got to thinking idily about on my way to work this morning.
At the time, I was drinking my Starbucks and I thought to myself,
"This isn't sweet, but then I'm enjoying it. Why do I like something that's slightly bitter to taste? I like beer too, but that wouldn't be classed as something drinkable in normal circumstances."
Don't we have those 'bitter' and sour receptors on our tongue from the primitive years when we needed to identify what foods were poisonous or toxic?

servival of the fittest, I think they are lovely creatures, i have two prance around in my front lawn every morning, they are very intelligent, they come right up to me and take nuts from my hand, I like the way they jump from branch to branch and climb things any other animal would find difficult.

What if an advanced civilization from another galaxy had the technology of high resolution telescopes beyond the realm of anything we currently have, and they could see detail on a planets surface, would they be able to see let's say the dinosaurs or our early ancestors walking about? In theory this would seem possible

i know to many addictys in their forties that look at least 5 years younger than they really are... heroin is said to slow the bodies functions and could therefore slow the metabolism. Which could retard the againg process. Look at methamphetamines, they speed up the bodies functions and look how nasty those people get in a few years. sure heroin can give you that droopy face, dark circles under eyes but, but its seems to me that it prevents wrinkles. thats just what i think... and of course heroin is a dangerous drug that should not be messed with.

Right now I am in California and I want to move to a state that has all 4 Seasons...I am tired of hot winters, and no snow, I do not want to move to a big city, I want to live in a more county type setting with enough of a yard to have a dog and kids can play outside w/o fear of kidnapping, etc. Any ideas of where to start looking would be great!

Thank You all :)
