You will arrive to an estimated total weight of blood plasma in an average adult body by knowing the following facts:
>>Blood plasma comprises the 55% of total blood volume.
>>Blood accounts for 7% of the human body weight.

So let us do simple mathematics to get an estimation.

Let us put 120 pounds as our calculated average adult body weight.
>> 7 % of 120 pounds is 8.4 pounds.
>> 55% of 8.4 pounds is 4.62 pounds.

==Therefore an estimated blood plasma weight in an average body weighing 120 pounds is 4.62 pounds.==

This isn't exact, but here goes.

The consensus I found online was that an adult human has about 5L of blood. I also found a few sources citing that blood's density is about 1.06 grams/mL. That means 5L of blood should have a mass of 5300 grams. 55% (the volume of plasma in blood) of 5300 grams is 2915 grams, which is 2.915 kilograms. That's about 6.4 lbs of plasma in the body (2.2 pounds per kilogram).

I should point out some inherent problems in this equation, though. 1.06 grams/mL is the density of whole blood. The density of plasma should be lower, closer to that of water (1 gram/mL) because it doesn't contain dense cells and large serum proteins. Also, all of these numbers are standard...everybody has different amounts of blood, and different components of plasma. Still, I hope this helps you.
