I know my future?

Weird question but one that needs to be asked. Im dating a guy right now that is everything I ever wanted and everything was going perfectly fine till last night. His grandma came into town and is a card reader. When she read his cards she said that I was a good girl for him but soon he's going to find a girl that he is going to instantly fall in love with. He told me what ever happens happens and he's not going to stop he's life with me for it. But I cant get it out of my head. My boyfriend is going to fall in love with another girl very soon and I dont know what to do. A part of me is trying to be logical but another part is saying it'll happen( she's been wrong before.. but normally she's not) what should I do with this info? Im really falling hard for him and losing him would be a hard blow. I wont lose my life over it but heartache and depression might step in for a while. I need help with this

What if this is as good as it gets?

My parents did their best bless their hearts; good schools, nice house, caring, nurturing, Christian morals...I deploy to Iraq next month and I'm afraid to die. Maybe I'm the odd person out but I believe in Cosmology and evolution; I just can't take the Old or New Testaments literally. I believe that when we die it is over and we had our chance. If this is so then why are we killing each other so casually, why do we keep bringing babies into situations too terrible to think about. It makes me crazy thinking about it sometimes. Thanks for any comments.

How do you prove these trig identities?

I'm very bad with trig, and we never learned how to prove these types of trig identities...

cos (x/2) = sqrt [(1+cosx) / 2]

and

sin (x/2) = sqrt [(1-cosx) / 2]

sqrt = square root...

Physics velocity and acceleration question?

In order to qualify for a racing competition the a racing car must achieve minimum speeds 250km/h on a 1600 m long track. The car travels at 230km/h for the first half of the track, what must be the minimum avg speed of the car during the second half in order to qualify.
Anything will work such as which formula to use and etc.
