Okay! I was told that I'm 1/8 of Irish and 87% African -American. I gave details saying that my mom is Irish and Black and her mom is Irish and black and my mom's dad is black and my dad is black. And so therefore someone told me I'm 1/8 Irish and 87% Black. I want to know how do you figure this out? How do you work this Math problem out to know you are 1/8th of something? or 1/4th of something? or 1/3rd of something?

Your spouse is hundreds of miles from you, having an affair. As he/she reaches climax you experience rise in body temp, eratic heart palpitations. At the moment he/she reaches orgasim so do you. But you go into cardiac arrest. No one is around to revive you, but then suddenly and mysteriously you "self revive" and all your bodly functions return to normal. And perhaps you can scense that each time this happens the nearer to death you come (no pun intended). Science Fiction? Maybe. I'm researching diffrent ideas for writing purposes. What would be a good name for this phenomenon? Just need help Brain-Storming!!! Give it a shot... be creative.

Okay, I've NEVER seen anything like this! If (x - 2) is a factor of (x^3 +kx^2 + 12x - 8), then what is k?

Also, this has to do with inverse functions, and I think I did everything right, but my answer is consistently different than the one provided! If f(x) = (cubed rt)(x^3 + 1), then what is the inverse of f (1.5)?

Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated! Explanations would be great too since I already know the answers... I just don't know how to solve 'em! Thanks so much!
