Have you ever loved a vase or dining chair enough to go into a room and sit there looking at it?

Yes. This is one of the things that our group has seen a lot of. We have been to many antiquarian shops, ( and it is spelled right, dealing in antiques and/or rare books ), because of problems with items. The story is usually the same, someone buys the item and strange things start to happen around the antique. They return the item, it's resold and it happens again, item comes back. One shop owner told me see sold a chair 5 times and it just kept coming back. Some thing was always trying to push people out of the chair. 5 owners, same story.

Yes, the dead owners of the objects have nothing better to do than haunt antique shops and watch their stuff.
