Hello! My husband is gearing up for his onsite engineering interview with Intel. They say on the website that he should bring his CV and copies of his transcripts. Well, he isn't from the US and his transcripts are in a different language.

To all of you engineers and interviewers, since he has been working for 8 years in the field, perhaps we shouldn't spend hundreds of dollars getting his transcripts translated. My husband thinks it's not going to be an issue, as his diploma is in both languages. The gentleman who is arranging the interview didn't mention anything.

What should he do?? Just bring the resume and diploma, along with the transcripts in the foreign language or go ahead and spend the money to have them officially translated?

Is it really a non issue or is it important to translate them??
Thanks so much. I really appreciate the insights any of you involved in the industry can help with :)

I recently purchased some after market LED bulbs for my car's rear turn signals. They work fine, but now the flashers are flashing much quicker. I understand that this is because the new bulbs use less power, so the system thinks a bulb is burnt out and indicates that by flashing quicker.

Because the new bulbs require less power than what is being supplied to them, will this cause premature burnout of the new bulbs or any problems with my car's electrical system if I don’t use load resistors? I'm fine with the increased flash rate otherwise.

Car: 2000 Nissan Altima SE
Stock bulb info: Turn signal, Wattage: 27, Size: 3156K

I'm not really sure what the exact specs for the new bulbs are, but they are designed to replace 3156 size bulbs.

Thank you.

I don't think it's possible. Here's my theory, picture timespace as a 3d grid much like this http://wwwvis.informatik.uni-stuttgart.d...
now lets say all the lines moving up and down and the one moving left and right are space, the one moving back and forward are time and the whole thing represents the universe. Now lets pick any interse ction and call it point a, that's where you are right now. With the earth rotating and orbiting the sun which is about a third away from the edge of a rotating galaxy, which itself is moving through space or the universe. You will never be at point a again in your life. even is you sat exactly still for exactly one year (use your imagination here) you would probably be in the same spot on earth and maybe the same spot relative to the sun, but the solar system would be in a different part of the galaxy and the galaxy would be in a different part of the universe.

If it even has the smallest mass like 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 of AMU. THen we could put flashlights on the back of our cars and go at the speed of light right? Because Newton's First Law says that for every action there is a reaction. So instead of fuel to push the rocket, we could put light beams right?
