Let the length of the rectangle be w cm Hence its length is 3w-5 According to the problem. 2(3w-5+w)=46 or,4w-5=46/2=23 or 4w=23+5=28 or w=28/4=7 therefore the width of the rectangle is 7 cm and its length is 3*7-5 or 16 cm ans
