I thought the fourth dimension was time.

Hi.
I have a phobia of gasoline --particularly the smell.

I can't drive by a gas station without getting into a panic.

My question is ->
Will I get brain damage if I smell the air when
going past a gas station ...
or if I breathe in exhaust fumes when walking down the street ...

Or would I have to dip a towel in gas
and sniff it?

Even if we find life somewhere else, we couldnt go there in our lifetime. Wouldnt all that money be better spent on helping all the more serious issues on our own planet. Imagine what $400 billion that we recently spent on a space exploration to mars would have done for the poor of our country or other important issues that affect lives of suffering people on this planet!

I'd like to determine the psi of a pump. All that is listed in the specs is the Horsepower, the Capacity (GPH), and the discharge head (in feet).

Is there some way to calculate the psi based on this info?

Thank you!

Long ago -- probably in 1990 or 1991 -- I saw in a magazine a picture -- In that picture -- a feather and an apple were dropped at the same time in vacuum -- the picture is like this -- at top of the picture the feather and the apple are at the same position -- then probably after 5 sec another picture is taken and superimposed on the old one -- so now there are 2 feather/apple duo stacked on top of the other -- and -- like that there are many instances -- and at the last instance it was seen that feather is a bit closer to the ground than the apple -- some thing which means there is more force between the feather and the earth -- than -- between apple and the earth -- does einstiens general theory of relativity predict this -- I dont claim to have a theory which rivals GR -- I know nothing about GR -- while free I read some popular science books on physics -- just being curious -- the magazine where I saw the pic was "span" -- it is an american magazine published in India

I don't need help solving it, but just understanding the context of what it's trying to ask:

Calculate the percent composition by mass of the following compounds that are important starting materials for synthethic polymers:

Ex: C3H4O2

So what is this question asking? Is it just finding what percentage an element accounts for in the whole compound?
So I would say something like Carbon accounts for 50% of the compound??
