You're right - you have a 1mg tablet of Xanax. GG means "Geneva Generics." Geneva is the company who manufactured the alprazolam, or Xanax. Geneva's parent company is Sandoz Pharmaceuticals.
I would advise you, however, that if you found it randomly, to flush it - it's never wise to take a medication you found on the floor, outside, etc.

I cannot tell what GG exactly mean but I believe that such inscriptions on tablet is an identifier used by its manufacturer as the imprints varies according to its manufacturer and on the country where it is marketed.
