I seem to remember as a child reading a book on Nostradamus' predictions, one of which was that Southern England would have catastrophic flooding around the year 2000. I have also heard that his predictions are 6 or 7 years out as the calendar they were based on had fewer days.

Like you launch a small nucluear charge out of the stern of the ship and it detonates, and the enormous force propels the ship forward even faster? Then you had thrusters to keep it on course, but the bombs would provide the motive power! Would it work? Would it be faster than conventional rockets? I know that we are taught that coal is fossiles of plants etc. that died billions and billions of years ago. No they also say that oil is the remains of dinosures etc. How then can it be explained that crude oil , in the gulf of mexico is miles and miles and miles BELOW the ocean floor. How did the surface, get so far below ground.

Coal comes from trees and plants etc that were buried thousands of years ago, so instead of chipping or burning used christmas trees etc why don't we bury them for coal for the future, also is it not possible that in thousands of years time, all the crap that we have put into landfills may turn into a fuel?
