Well science says that there are many galaxies, dimensions even? well now why some eliminate the theory of extraterestrial? as there are many galaxies and even on Mars (or on another planet don`t know wich exactly) they found frozen water, so water means life sure it will take thousands of years maybe more but even so... in another solar-sistem maybe there is life, more advanced or inferior? who knows as we canot travel faster and takes so much that even in a life we can`t reach other solar-sistems... so how can we do that?

So I'm stealing this idea from an Answer I read in one of my Contact's posts a long time ago, so I hope he doesn't mind.

Anyway, he mentioned that we would never tolerate this kind of "fraud" from any non-religious organization, and I started thinking... He's right, but does "religious freedom" extend to the right to misrepresent the work of others? For example, numerous creationist authors use misleading quotations from scientists, ID advocates have (apparently) designed their movement not out of religious doctrine but through the use of media advisors and legal experts.

Should we (scientists) all file suit for denegration of our profession? Is that even possible?

think a bit... how will we survive over the next couple of years, if we do not stop destroying our own Planet?
Evolution could be both good and bad, but effects of the bad evolution affects our life, and our planet...
So...what is the best thing to do?

Hi, I've asked the question below last week and have received fantastic results, but I just don't understand them.

Prove that 43 ^ n + 83 x 92 ^ 3n – 1 is divisible by 7 for all positive integers n,

Can you please help by either:

Defining the following two answers into simpler terms, enough for a young teenager to understand:

Reduce mod 7: 43^n= 1^n=1mod7
83=6mod7 and 92^(3n-1) =(13*7+1)^(3n-1)=1^(3n-1)=1mod...

Plug these in : 1 + 6(1) =7mod 7. Therefore your expression
is divisible by 7 for all n.

or

43 to any power mod 7 always =1
92 to any power mod 7 always =1
83 mod 7 =6
so 1+1*6 is the mod of the whole expression for any n. Which is divisible by 7.

OR

Answer the question with a new answer, making it as simple as possible. Thanks.

Hypothecially, if an asteroid was hurtling toward Earth with no realistic way of stopping it (Hollywood movies aside) do you think the government or scientists would really tell us? I don't think they would ~ it would cause panic and kill more people than the asteroid itself. Maybe we'd see scientists all over the world starting to hord supplies? what do you think.

I was remembering that I was begging for water, but I wasn't allowed to have it I had just had my appendix out and I was in the hospital for 21 days. (Because my parents didn't know what was wrong with me at the age of three) I went for days with a ruptured appendix (I guess) I don't know what happend but I almost died. My mother crying told the doctor to give me water and pull the plugs because I was crying and begging for water. So I just want to know what was the deal with not giving me water.

If planets and galaxies that we see in the sky that are really millions of light years away, does that mean we are seeing what happened millions of years ago? If thats true then theoretically wouldn't we be able to see the Big Bang happening if we look far into the universe?
