Ques: sun is emitting 355kw/hr avg. Energy. This energy is to be used to pass current to a system which is under electrolysis. How much of Hydrogen and oxygen is seperated. Hint:-237 kJ of energy is required to make 1M of hydrogen? If u don't get the answer try to write produced instead of seperated

The units don't make sense - kW/hr = 10^3 Joules/second/hour. Do you mean kW-Hours.? This ends up in units of energy, which makes sense.

Let's assume you meant kW-hours. The sun then puts 1.28 GJ out in one hour (3600 sec/hr*355 kW-hours). Then if you need 237 kJ to make 1 mole of H, you can make 5.39 kMoles in one hour. YOu can work out h emole fraction for O2.
