5:30 in western Nebraska, 6:30 in eastern Nebraska.

This is a comparitive chart to EST.

The D means Daylight [saving time]. The S means standard [no daylight saving time effective(in all states in the winter).]

EDT or EST=Eastern Standard Time (Let's say 7:30)
CDT or CST=Central Standard Time (-1 hour, so 6:30)
MDT or MST=Mountain Standard Time (-2 hours from EST ,so 5:30)
PDT or PST=Pacific Standard Time (-3 hours from EST, so 4:30)

Check here where in Nebraska you are, though, or you could be 5:30.
