I have been working this problem for a while and I know there must be a better way of finding the answer than I have been trying. Please help? Will you show me how to get the answer?

The question is [find the remainder when 7 to the hundredth power is divided by 9].

distance from sun to earth: 93,000,000 miles
speed of light: 300,000,000 meters per second
1.6 kilometers=1 mile
1 kilometer=1000 meters
1 hour = 3600 seconds

i did this problen twice and i got two different answers: roughly 0.14 hours or 7.25 hours

alot of other people did it too but we all got different answers

I have geothermal heating and cooling. Now, when we bought the house they told us the best thing to do is leave the a/c on auto, keep windows doors closed and leave the temperature alone. When you adjust it and turn it on and off, you are making it work harder to get back up or down to the right temp. SO this is what Ive been doing. Seems to work well, keeps costs low. Do you agree or should I try opening the windows on cooler days?

At the equator, does water not spin when you flush the toilet? Because in the Northern Hemisphere it spins clockwise, and ni the Southern Hemisphere is spins counterclockwise. So exactly at the middle, does it just drop?
