I have completed my +2 .I was not able to get admission to aerospace/aeronautical engg. in a recognized institute. Which other common branch shall i choose so that I will be able to switch over to the field of space science after my B Tech?

I have a degree in electrical engineering and I work in the aerospace field, building avioncs for space flight. If you want to deal with more of the mechanical aspects of rocketry and satellites, then you should study M.E.

aerospace : u design and supervise air crafts and missiles design
aeronautical : u design and build navigation systems and such stuff
astophysics : design the objectives of space missions and study space structure and theories
