If I hold an object and plaster my prints over it, can I erase them by simply sliding my hand firmly out? I've noticed that on dusty surfaces, (or any surface where fingerprints show to the naked eye), sliding my hand out erases the print, and there is no fresh print of the sliding hand/finger. I know if i lift my hand directly, i leave a fresh print, but what if I drag it to and off the edge?
We've all seen in it in the movies, where the guy cleans his gun with a cloth, but can he do it with his hands too? Ofcourse I may have not noticed something in my crude little experiment, but is it possible? Is it really possible to disguise the print with your fingers itself?
