I just came across this page that outlines the benefits of having a World Calendar, starting in 2012:
http://www . theworldcalendar . org/TWC-v.-Gc-page.htm
I'm curious what the chances of success of such a project are.
I think the traditionalists would never allow it, it's like expecting the US to switch to the metric system in the near future, just because it's logical and easier. (Quick, how many feet are in a mile?)
What do you think?

*picture link: http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/2450/scangd4.jpg

a.What force, parrallel to the ramp (Fa) is required to slide a 25 kg box at constant speed to the top of the ramp if friction is disregarded?
b. What is the IMA of the ramp?
c. What are the real MA and the efficiency of the ramp if a parrallel force of 75 N is actually required?

Please help me with this problem.
I'm having trouble understanding it.

I've been studying for my high school entrance exam, and I know all the types of questions except for this. It's showing up a lot in the practice tests so I think I really need to know how to solve it.

Example:

If Martha can paint a house in 4 hours, and Jack can paint the same house in 3 hours, while Max can paint the house in 5 hours, how much time would be spent if they painted the house together?

Test is tomorrow morning so please answer ASAP.

i obviously have many talents elsewhere, was never the math wiz type. just curious how you mathematical geniuses think...
I bet you think in a very orderly, systematically fashion, yes? and everything relates to numbers in some way?
Describe you day in thinking in general, what goes thru ur mind day in and day out as far as ur thinking patterns
lol, u probably think i'm nuts, haha.
But i'm CURIOUS :o)
