LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) basically contains butane, a saturated haydrocarbon, 4th member of the alkane family, with formula C4H10. It might also contain other gases as per requirement.
CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) is basically methane, a saturated haydrocarbon, 1st member of the alkane family, with formula CH4. It might also contain other gases as per requirement.
