How many times do I have to repeat myself? The " point " of the mosquito is to serve of a vehicle for mosquito genes and thus aid in the genes replication.
PS IT has nothing to do with the food chain, as that would give direction to evolution, which has none. That mosquito's are eaten and swatted is purely coincident of their behavior, not there "point ". I am ashamed of you, birdgirl, you need to know better than giving teological answers to a zoological question.
