I am doing a paper for school and it says to compare the amount of DNA in a human liver cell to the amount in a human kidney cell. I have looked all through my book and found nothing. Please Help!!

Scientests assume the universe is expanding, now I haven't bothered to look up why they think that so if someone wants to explain that here, go ahead, but how do we know it isn't condensing, or maybe it will begin to shrink back into the big ball of matter that created the big bang, maybe this isn't the first universe, maybe there was never a beginning and this is just one of a long string of universes. Like the universe expands, stops, shrinks, and boom, new universe, but everytime it takes hundreds of billions of years, which is a short time compared to infinity.

Could you please tell me why Ivory soap expands about 2 to 3 times it orginial size when put in the microwave for 2 minutes?

I know that the water molecules are aggrevaited by the heat produced in the microwave, but how does the soap expand?

When the microwave stopped producing heat, the size of the soap starts to decrease. Why is this?

Is it because the air trapped in the soap exscaped?

Please do not list the Stevens guy (or whatever his name is) I already have that information.
