The 'long method' i'm saying is
f(x) = ?
f(x+h) = ?
f(x+h) -f(x) = ?
[f(x+h) -f(x)] / h = ?
limit of [f(x+h) -f(x)] / h as h approaches 0?

Please...i need your help...my teacher is really torturing me!!!
