1)When u climb a mountain your eardrums “pop” out ward as the air pressure decreases. When you come down they pop inward as the pressure increases. At the sea cost there is cave that can be entered only by swimming through a completely submerged passage and emerging into a pocket of air within the cave. The cave is not vented to external atmosphere. As the tides comes in the water level in the cave rises and your eardrums pop. Is the popping analogous to wht happen as you climb up or down a mountain? Give ur reasoning..

2)The kinetic theory assumes that a gas molecular rebounds with the same speed after colliding with the wall of container. Suppose the speed after the collision is less thn that before the collision would the pressure of the gas be greater thn equal to or less thn that predicated by kinetic theory? Give reason.

3)a)which if either contain a greater number of molecular a mole of hydrogen or mle of oxygen? B) which one has more mass? Give ur reason?

If you want to cause a nuclear explosion:

It takes protons (or electrons, please answer) and shoots them at an atom. The atom then, once it is split, it releases a great amount of atomic thermal radiation.

If you want to fuse:

I you want to mix atoms such as atom 114 then you would shoot out calcium and mix it with the element Plutonium and they fuse together with all the friction/radiation.

California/Nevada in the past week alone. Now granted most of these were level 1 and 2, with an occasional 3 tossed in for good measure. My question is...were they all really EQs? how sensative are the monitors--would they give a false read for say, a building demolition? Please don't flame me. I went to the local science museum last week and they had a really interesting display-- enough to catch my interest and do some web surfing...
