DON'T SAY E=mc^2!
As far as I understand the end products in a chain reaction are random and so is energy released in each single reaction, the same is true with neutrons released, absorbed, or lost. Add to that the whole effects of the explosion and energy release and it sounds like a mess. So how accuarate is it when they say something like such and such nuclear bomb has the same power of so many gigakilos of TNT? In other words, how linear is the relationship between power and mass of the fuel in a nuclear bomb?
I know that much physics to know E=mc^2, not all the mass turns into energy when a bomb goes off. Does anyone know how much mass is turned into energy? What's left?

Come up with a tagline/slogan for the element lithium. The slogan should be one short sentence and concentrate on a quality/property of lithium. The best slogan gets best answer.

Could a meteor striking the moon break off even more meteors which could hit the earth? Also, would a meteor moving 60,000 mph, iron composition, with a 5x5 mile mass have enough force to hit the moon (if impact angle is just perfect) into the Earth?

If a neutron weighs 1.6749293E-27kg, a proton 1.6262171E-27kg, an electron 9.1093826E-31kg and an antineutrino is assumed massless (~0 kg), and given:

-Neutron decay --> electron + proton + antineutrio
-Neutron composed of 2 down quarks/1 up quark
-Proton composed of 2 down quarks/1 up quark

What accounts for the mass difference of 4.7801252E-29kg (or 52.47 times the mass of an electron) between the mass of the neutron and the sum of the masses of the proton and electron (given that the antineutrino is massless)?

What is the other "stuff" that I seem to be missing?

ABC and BDE are two equilateral triangles such that D is the midpoint of BC. A and E lie on opposite sides of BC. Join EC and AD. If AE intersects BD at F, Show that:
(a) ar(BDE) = 1/4 ar(ABC)
(b) ar(BDE) = 1/2 ar(BAE)
(c) ar(ABC) = 2*ar(BEC)
(d) ar(BFE) = ar(AFD)
(e) ar(BFE) = 2*ar(FED)
(f) ar (FED) = 1/8 ar(AFC)

I got the diagram all right. I just need help solving it.

The body remains after the man dies (the life leaves). Similarly does the body form first for the life to enter it? Life at the cell level is apparently different from the life in the body at the macro level. The body thus appears to be transient to the life. The philosophy that " You are not the Body" can be better understood if the trasitional body is understood. If the life(soul) enters the fetus after the fetus is fully formed and the life(soul) leaves the body after it is grown to a certain level. Understanding of the temporal nature of the body will lead to understanding of the purpose of life and to have due attachment as if staying in the lodge of the body.
