This year's been rather warm in the whole US. I was up north last week and it was in the 60's during the day, and it's been in the 70's where I live. Weather is so unpredictable; last year about 5 major hurricanes hit, this year there weren't any huge ones.

:)

not at all. I do remember a few winters where there was not more than just a coating or two (less than 1/4 inch) (which disappeared hours or days later) all season. I also remember one season where we recieved about 36 inches of snow with a single snow fall....on top of several significant snow falls.....we had a pile of snow about 18 feet high and 25 feet wide from shoveling the driveway and walks, on our property which finally fully melted almost at the end of May.

Weather is cyclic and unfortunately, we don't have enough history, except for implied history in tree rings and arctic and antarctic snow layers which suggest the same thing..........some years with PLENTY of snow and others that were very mild with little or no snow and warm temps. This pattern will repeat every few years, decades or centuries.........

There were ice core samples taken in the arctic, which drilled to the earth under the snow, which came up with tree and brush fragments.......which tells me that the arctic was once warm enough to support plant life.....

Colorado is going on a second blizzard in about a week. There is snow on some high peaks in otherwise hot areas. I know in the Northeast US, for instance, it isn't all that unusual to have little or no snow until late December or even into January. So be patient and perhaps you'll get those snow days from work or school.

I think we are going to get a big snow storm in January or February. I believe the weather was like this in 1967 when the big snow hit in January.

Yes, it's massively weird. It's got me obsessively making confetti to simulate snow. Oh wait, that's just for New Year's.

No, I don't think that it's weird; not trying to scare you, but the bible states that when the seasons stop changing, these are signs to his faithful people that his coming is near.
