I need each step that you did for doing these. For Example:
SbCl5 + 2KI >>> SbCl3 + 2KCL + I2
the steps:
Sb + 2e- >> Sb
+ 2I - 2e- >> I2
----------------------
Sb + 2I >>>> Sb + I2 (^^Is that Right?^^)
If you dont want to do each step, its fine. But i chhose the best answer based on WHATS BEST!!
Here is the Probs:
1) Mn O2 + H2 SO4 + H2 C2O4
2) SbCl5 + 2KI >>>> SbCl3 + 2KCl + I2 << done, but is it right?
3) S + HNO3 >>>> SO2 + NO +H2O
4) HNO2 + HI >>>> NO + I2 + H2O

I live in Washington state. We were amazed to read on below website that in 1998, it was estimated that there were 25,000 black bear in Washington state. This seems like a huge number. I'd love to hear how this number was come up with.

http://www.wdfw.wa.gov/wlm/game/cougbear.htm

I can imagine it involves radio collaring, looking for evidence of bear and knowledge about how large there home range is. Any other info about how this is done would be appriciated.

A rifle is fired in a balley with parallel vertical walls. The echo fom one wall is heard 1.61 s after the rifle was fired. The echo from the other wall is heard 2.9 s after the first echo. The velocity if sound is 343 m/s. How wide is the valley? Answer in units of m.

I've tried this problem 3 different ways and i got it wrong each time.
I would assume
x1 = (343 m/s)(1.61s)
x2 = (343 m/s)(2.9 s)
x1+x2 = width of the valley. but it's not.

please help!

Which of the compounds has the greatest bond polarity?

a) TeO b) IF c) LiF d) HF e) CO

the electronegativity difference in A is 1.4
the electronegativity difference in B is 1.5
the electronegativity difference in C is 3.0
the electronegativity difference in D is 1.9
the electronegativity difference in E is 1.0

looking at that, you would want to say C. but LiF is not covalent, but ionic. When it says which has the greatest "polarity", does that mean it has to be covalent?

I know this is not Zoology, but you lot are so clever...
I recently bought a Beagle off the internet. The seller said it was rescued from some test centre somewhere and gave me a bag with something in it. I thought it was Pedigree papers or food. When i got home i opened the bag and there was a packet of 20 JPS fags and a box of matches in there. The dog started to pine and shake, so i put 2&2 together and gave it a ciggy This dog is now on 60 a day and its costing a fortune for me to keep. Its getting to the stage where I wished i had stayed indoors.

Do you think if i bought a Smokers patch and stuck it over his Gob it would help....Im so sick of being ripped off all the time
