another one of these:

"A kennel operator wishes to enclose a rectangular area against the wall of a building to form a dog run. A dog lover donated 120m of fencing to create a run of maximum area."

i have to find the dimensions of the 3-sided rec so that the area is maximized, and have to find the best dimensions for the run. this is a spreadsheet assignment for the length, width, and area. the max length has to be 120 and minimum 0, but i can't figure out how to calculate the dimensions on the spreadsheet (ie. i have to figure out the width and area of the 3-sided rec against the wall with its length being 120)

What is the main ingredient to portland cement and the minor ingredients. What is the base rock that is mined and how high is the heat used to process this rock to a powder for the cement? Before water and aggregate is added what are the other products used. What is the percentage in relation to the base? I hope these questions makes sense.

My helli is pretty big, I am using four 10mm leds, two white, one front, one back, one red left, one green right, I have a on board battery 5V, but I can put on a small axillary battery 12V, if I have to, I would like them to flash all that the same time, But this is no ordinary on–off–on–off flasher. I would like a "heart-beat" effect, blip-blip, pause, blip-blip, pause. for a double-blink roughly every second.
the spec for the leds are
Red X1 : Forward Voltage : 1.9v - 2.1v
Forward Current : 20mA
White X2 Forward Voltage : 3.2v - 3.6v
Forward Current : 20mA
Green X1 Forward Voltage : 3.2v - 3.6v
Forward Current : 20mA
does any one have plans to make this work? or a place where I can buy a board already made?
Thanks
John

I've noticed the same gas stations will click the nozzle off or slow it down to where it only pumps a trickle till you hit your prepay amount. I.E. you pre-pay $10 on thursday and pump. pump slows down at $9.75 till it hits $10. Same pump friday slows down at $9.65. What factors does the machine account for to slow or stop the gas?
