C because you are just cutting the wood and not burning or converting anything. Even though you are cutting it, it is still wood. You cannot convert any of the others back to its original form.

Let's see...
A) a medicine reacting with stomach acid is a chemical reaction. This is because a new chemical has been formed and the result is very hard to change back to what it was in the first place.
B) anything rusting is a chemical change, because a new chemical has been formed and this process is irreversible.
C) saw dust piling up under a table saw is a physical change, as no new chemical has been formed.
D) a cigarette being smoked is a chemical change, because a new chemical has been formed and the process is irreversible.
I've just done this for my homework, so no worries... Hopefully!

Wood=>Sawdust is a physical reaction. You aren't changing the composition of the matter, merely its form.

(c) saw dust piling up (no chemical composition change)

chemical changes involve state/molecular changes, which is true for (a), (b), and (d).
