9.) -2(k-1) > 8(1+k)
-2k + 2 > 8 + 8k
add 2k and subtract 8 from both sides
-6>10k divide both sides by 10
-3/5 > k

10.) 3(y-2) > 1+y
3y - 6 > 1 + y
subtact y and add 6 to both sides
2y > -5
divide both sides by 2
y > -5/2

13.) 2(y-2) > -4+2y
2y - 4 > -4 + 2y but this is the same thing on both sides so the inequality needs to be replaced by an equal sign or you have stated this question incorrectly
