Ok, I'm lost on this section. This is an unassigned HW question I think would help me to figure out if I could see how to do this the question is to find a general form for x'-y^2=2x or dx/dy - y² = 2x and then to show it is really the answer.
I can't figure this out, any help?

ok my teacher wants us to figure out how a boy a hundred years ago got the solution to this problem in few seconds
the problem goes. whatr is the solution of all the NATURAL numbers added together. thas 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15..........+100
(you add all the numbers from 1 to 100 together, and get the solution in a fast way)
ps. if you can give the the solution to the addition

At first guess, from looking at photos of counter-rotation blades, I would imagine that there is a gear system which changes the rotation of one set of blades (on a common shaft) in the opposite direction to the other set of blades.

Does anyone have a clear way of explaining this to me? Or better yet, does anyone have a diagram of the internal workings of the counter-rotation process?
