i want it to say I a heart and then the persons name...i have a TI-83 plus

i don't think the TI-83 has a heart. But you can use letter A-lock and then type up your message. Or you can write a program to say it.

A heart could be made by <3 (if it is being shown right side up) or 3> (if it is being shown upside down)

I can't tell you how to write a name if you don't tell me what it is.

simple though would be: I <3 *Unit Key*

Uh... are you trying to pull something here? 2nd function -> Alpha -> x^2, 0, ),7,6,SIN,0,1,7,5....
=) That's the setup for the T1-83 Plus...

well you would have to read it upside down but you would put 1 for the I AND O WOULD BE 0 V WOULD BE E WOULD BE 3 THEN Y WOULD BE THEN O WOULD BE 0 U WOULD BE

im not sure about the heart, but i know how to put I and the persons name.u press the key ALPHA then whatever key that has the correct letter above

With a calculator youcan't do much. Just keep it simple. Just key in 104 or 1.177155.4 for ( I Miss U)

Hit the 2nd button and then alpha and then the letters are in yellow above the buttons and just hit them. the space is the zero.
