I'm having trouble getting started and I have to do the comparisons of the nucleus, nucleolus, ribosome, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi body, cell membrane, mitochondria, chloroplast, lysosome, chromosomes, vacuoles, cytoskeleton and I have to compare them to a ant colony.

i.e. The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell which means its like the ant workers. And that's all I can think of. Any help is appreciated.

Use the given conditions to write an equation for the line in point-slope form and in slope-intercept form.
Passing through (3,5) with x-intercept -2.
y-y1=m(x-x1)
1) In order to use the point-slope equation, we need the slope of the line and the coordinates of one point on the line. We know that the line passes through the point . We also know that the line passes through the given x-intercept . What are the coordinates of the given x-intercept? (-2,0)
Now we need to find the slope of the line passing through (3,5) and (-2,0).
The formula for the slope m of a non-vertical line given the points (x1,y1) and(x2,y2) is m=(y2-y1)
----------
(x2-x1)
m=1
To find the equation of the line, use either of the given points and the resulting slope. Substitute into the point-slope form of the equation of a line . y-y1=m(x-x1)
Simplify any signs if necessary. What is the point-slope form of the given line?
b) Notice that in the slope-intercept form, the y is isolated on the left

The function is abs(x^2-6x+5) ((absolute value of it))
the zeros are x=5,1.
i took the two equations (since it is greater than or equal to zero and less than zero, ((negatedthe part less than zero, and then took the first derivative))
but i got the critical points to be 3, when on the graph it doesnt go through 3.
any help on what to do? thanks.
