I went to the pub last week. There was a penny in the urinal. It was all brown and manky and looked old. When I was there yesterday there was a penny in the same urinal but it was all shiny.

Was it the same penny? Can urine or urinal cakes clean up coins?

Is a vacuum literally an area that has no chemical elements ie oxygen, helium, etc etc, and if so what would happen to a human being if he was to step into a vacuum? would he vaporise instantly?

In a quadratic, the question was
x - 3√x - 10 = 0 and it gave that x > 0

So if I used √x to solve it then (√x - 5) (√x + 2) = 0
then √x = 5 or √x = -2
So x would be 25 or 4.
I'm just wondering now if √x can equal -2, and if someone could explain.
Thanks,

I mean i am a studying computer engineering and i have decided that in my futurre thesis i want to make robotics w/ the combination of an AI (artificial intelligence)for security by my self coz my classmates got no brains to imagine a thing like this, but is it funny thinking things like this that i should do coz its kind of complicatted(to much for my self) just for a thesis. i know this is a stupid question but my dreams are in chaos and i dont want to end up beaten by my complicated and chaostic dreams coz i just want to be a scientist(engineer) :( Guys what do you recommend me to do? plzzzz :( help me ahuhuhuhuhu (^o^)

TOTAL 3 qns:
A child slides across a floor in a pair of rubber-soled shoes. The friction force acting on each foot is 22 N, the footprint area of each foot is 16 cm2, and the thickness of the soles is 5.0 mm. Find the horizontal distance traveled by the sheared face of the sole. The shear modulus of the rubber is 3.0 106 Pa.

Another qn:
9.16 A 10.0 kg block of metal is suspended from a scale and immersed in water as in Figure P9.30. The dimensions of the block are 12.0 cm 10.5 cm 10.5 cm. The 12.0 cm dimension is vertical, and the top of the block is 5.00 cm below the surface of the water

a) What are the forces exerted by the water on the top and bottom of the block? (Do not ignore the effect of the air above the water. Take P0 = 1.0130 105 N/m2.) Ftop N
Fbottom N
(b) What is the reading of the spring scale?
N
(c) Show that the buoyant force equals the difference between the forces at the top and bottom of the block.

How can it end I mean saying that you are flying in a space ship you cant just hit a wall of nothing can you? and how would their be an end would you circle around. but then the universe is a ball. But then whats outside of the ball. Or are we all just computer programs that kids are playing at their homes and we don't even exist. For all we know we could be computer programs.
