For the same material with two kind of method which is indirect extrusion and tension method with result in same diameter.

In extrusion work we often require to melt the material with heat. This does not happen with tension work. Hence for the same material we require more force and less energy for tension than for extrusion which will require less force and more energy. and extrusion do not need melting . the amount of force deponds on the strenght of material.
