I have read all his books and as a fairly smart guy, I can't refute them. I am a tech and Amateur Astronomer and I think the guy has some answers- he just took all the written historys from all the world and got the story right- none of his theories have been debunked- Sagen tried and failed. Anyone else believe?

Assume that at time t=0, I am in a space ship starting at rest relative to the earth, and then I accelerate so that I continuously experience an acceleration equivalent to 1 earth gravity (about 9.81 Newtons).

At what time would I observe that I am travelling at 90 percent of the speed of light, relative to the earth? That is, how long after I started accelerating would I reach the speed of 0.9 c ?

My son has asked for help with his chemistry and I have no idea what to do. It was never one of my strong points at school so I was wondering if someone could help me with these, in as basic a way as you can because I really am terrible lol.

Q: Balance the following equations if necessary and write them as ionic equations.

a) HCl(aq) + NaOH(aq) --> NaCl(aq) + H2O(l)

b) HNO3(aq) + Mg(OH)2(aq) --> Mg(NO3)2(aq) + H2O(l)

c) LiCl(aq) + AgNO3(aq) --> AgCl(s) + LiNO3(aq)

d) H2SO4(aq) + LiOH(aq) --> Li2SO4(aq) + H2O(l)

e) Pb(NO3)2(aq) + KCl(aq) --> KNO3(aq) + PbCl2(s)

It's been several years since I took chemistry at school and I can't even remember what half of these symbols stand for so i'm not much help to my son unfortunately. Any help would be very mmuch appreciated. Thank You.

Or, do we mean that all the elementary particles that make up the universe are expanding in size as well?

In other words, are all the stars and galaxies flying away from each other, while the particles that they are made from are staying the same size and distance from each other - and hence the universe is becoming more 'diluted', OR, is it just that all the stars and galaxies are staying the same relative size and its the elementary particles that are expanding - and hence the universe is not becoming 'diluted'?

From my understanding, carbon dating is based on the assumption that all life forms (while still alive) have a certain ratio of carbon 14 to carbon 12. What happens if somehow that life form is deprived of carbon 14 entirely? Would it be able to survive? Would there be any health effects at all? What would that mean for carbon dating?

Water expands as its temperature drops below 4ºC, and so is less dense than water above this
temperature. This is why ice floats. Things that float displace the amount of liquid they float in
so that the mass of the volume of liquid displaced is equal to the mass of the floating object. This
means that when an ice cube melts while floating in a glass of water at constant temperature, the
depth of the water in the glass will not change. Explain then, why global warming and the feared melting of icebergs, is connected with rising sea level.
