A volume of 50.0 mL of 0.400 M HBr at 24.35°C is added to 50.0 mL of 0.400 M NaOH, also at 24.35°C. The final temperature is 27.06°C. Calculate the enthalpy change, H, in kJ for the following reaction:
HBr(aq) + NaOH(aq) --> NaBr(aq) + H2O(l)

If the law of Conservation of Energy states that energy is neither destroyed, nor created, then what was the source of the energy for your proposed Big Bang? Yes, perhaps the universe could have collapsed on it's self to create the very center again IF your theory is true, but how did that energy get there in the first place for the first "Big Bang" if one ever even existed?

My boyfriend said that he heard on the Paul Harvey News that scientists somewhere were able to teleport a document 3 feet. I have a hard time believing this and can't find anything about it anywhere on the internet....just wondering, did anyone else hear the same thing he did?? or is he's hearing things? I think he misunderstood something.

If you were a patent clerk and someone applied for a patent for a perpetual motion machine, would you deny them a patent without even looking at their design? After all, perpetual motion machines are supposed to be prohibited by the laws of thermodynamics. I'm just curious what you would do. (If you can't tell by the quality of this question, I'm a little bored today)
