1) If nothing continues to heat a gas, all the electrons in the atoms of the gas eventually will end up in the lowest energy level (the ground state). Use this fact to explain why we should not expect to see an emission line spectrum from a cold cloud of gas.

2)The spectrum of light that we see from the star Alpha Centauri shows a blue shift, if you lived on a planet in the Alpha Centauri system, would you discover our Sun’s spectrum to show a redshift, a blue shift, or on Doppler shift at all? Please Explain the answer.

we have an atmosphere on earth, so It makes sense that sometimes we can't see stars. But on the moon, as far as I know, there is no atmosphere and no clouds. This leaves me to assume the skies would be so clear into space [from the moon] that you could see more stars than from anywhere on earth. This is not the case though. I'm looking for a logical scientific explanation not a conspiracy theory. thanks.

Or atleast creating a zero g enviroment due to counter-acting earth's gravity with another source of gravity.

If we could hover something 100 times the density of lead a foot from the ground it would create a zero g zone. Just the energy required to hover such mass would be huge.

Agree or no?
