x^4 + 4x^3 + 125x + 500 = 0
x^3 (x+4) + 125 (x+4) = 0
=> (x^3+125) (x+4) =0

=> either x^3+125=0 => x^3=-125 => x=-5
or x+4=0 => x=-4

=> x = -5 or -4

x^4 + 4 x^3 +125x + 500
x^3 (x + 4) + 125( x +4)
Let u = (x + 4), then
x^3 u + 125u
u(x ^3 +125)
so, x = -4 or -5 or 5
