My Mum helped in a lab where they did animal testing on mice. She couldn't stand it, and left after a short time.
There's a book called Living Without Cruelty by Mark Gold that has a bit about weopons testing on monkeys at Porton Down. Horrendous.

Yes. I worked at the facility, but not with / on the animals

My step mum use to be a biologist with cancer research where they would test on mice. I went with her when I was younger (15) and she had to kill a mouse by breaking its neck...I passed out.

She now works for the MOD

I fully supported her work as my Mum had breast cancer and eventually died from cancer.

Testing? what the hell does that mean? No, i don't know anyone who does testing on animals.

Yes. She's presently working on chickens with regards to treating salmonella.

A friend of mine's wife does aquatic toxicology on daphnids (water bugs).
