The other day i heared about scientists who found the reason why toast falls butter side down, why do they insist on wasting all that money for somthing of no use to anyone, when the money could be spent on more serious research.

Every single Animal, Organism, Bacteria can evolve (and have to) over time. All of which are made up of atoms. Well, so is everything else that is around us! In order for them to change, something has to be "recorded" in order for change to take place to better the organism. What stops the universe from "recording"? its like an organism itself and It is just as complex! ( I am going to have to rephrase this question once I can better understand what I am trying to say, but hopefully you can catch what I'm trying to say)

Scientists have prooved the moon has effects our tides and tides are powerful enough to change the earth's rotation. (They even say back in the ages of dinosaurs we had a 400 day year) So doesn't the earth mess with the moons orbit too? So are the celestial bodies equalizing? If so what would be the final speed of the earth and final speed of the moon? (If someone just happens to have a supercalculator on their computer or is an astrophysist)
